We have been doing brake work since we purchased this business in 1990, and it still remains one of our main lines of service. This includes replacing brake pads and shoes, rotors, brake calipers, master cylinders, and brake lines. We replace the rotors only if necessary since many brake rotors can be turned which consists of machining out the grooves or warping caused by worn out brake pads.
Farm & Commercial
Our heavy duty brake work consists of inspecting and replacing hydraulic and air brakes on large trucks. This covers the drums, brake shoes, s-cam bushings, seals, bearings, and races. We do a full inspection of all brakes to ensure everything is in good working order.
Custom Brake Relining
Custom brake relining is getting more rare, so if you have an old car, truck, or tractor that you are unable to find brake shoes or linings for, we may be able to help you out. We keep some brake linings on hand and can always order what we don't have. Our equipment for relining is at the truck shop on the farm, so the brake parts would need to be dropped off at Valley Brake Service or mailed. We will do them as soon as we are able and let you know when they are done.
